Training

The SISEM-SP works actively for the training of museums professionals of museums from the State of São Paulo. In a partnership with the museums of the Secretariat of Creative Culture, Economy and Industry, actions such as on-the-job trainings, apprenticeships, workshops, lectures and long-distance courses are developed throughout the year. Recently, the first editions of the Technical Support and Training Actions (ASTECAs, in Portuguese initials) were done, aiming to link training technical actions to services of support to museums through relevant themes to the operation of museology.

From 2011 to 2019, 342 training actions were done, resulting into a public of 6,225 professionals of museums.
