The State System of Museums (SISEM-SP) is linked to the Preservation of Museum Heritage Unit of the Culture and Creative Economy Secretariat (UPPM-SEC).
The activities of SISEM-SP are carried out by a Technical Coordination Group (GTC SISEM-SP) that develops public policies for the museological area in the State of São Paulo; qualifies and strengthens museums for the protection, research, and promotion of cultural heritage.
SISEM-SP also makes partnerships focused on shared responsibilities.
Through partnerships, SISEM-SP carries out actions throughout the State of São Paulo, based on the needs of each region.

The Connections SP Museums Program is an action in partnership with the State System of Museums (SISEM-SP).
